Cockatoos are the most affectionate, most demanding, and most vocal parrots in mainstream aviculture. Before you buy a cockatoo

We have to be direct: cockatoos are not the right bird for most first-time parrot owners. They form extraordinarily deep bonds with their human, and when those bonds are disrupted — by long work hours, a new partner, or a move — they can develop severe screaming, feather destruction, and self-mutilation behaviours. The cockatoo-rescue world is full of re-homed birds whose original owners simply couldn’t meet the daily emotional demands. If you’re drawn to cockatoos but unsure about the commitment, consider طيور الكوكتيل instead — same family, much more forgiving temperament.

For the right owner, though, there is no more affectionate companion parrot. Cockatoos will cuddle, dance, speak, and actively seek physical closeness in a way few other parrot species match. If you work from home, have steady daily routines, and can commit to a 40–60 year bond, a cockatoo can be the bird of a lifetime.

Our cockatoo babies

We only sell fully weaned, hand-fed cockatoos — we do not sell un-weaned babies, regardless of what a buyer offers.
