Macaws are the largest and most visually spectacular parrots in the world. Our Macaws collection is the deepest on the site — we carry both pure species (Hyacinth, Scarlet, Blue & Gold, Severe, Red-Fronted, Red-Bellied, Yellow-Collared, Спикс) and popular hybrid varieties (Ruby, Tropicana, Verdi, Torch Lutino, White & Blue, White Mutation Blue, and more).
Choosing a macaw
Size matters. A Hyacinth macaw is over a metre long from beak to tail and has a bite force capable of cracking Brazil nuts — it needs a dedicated bird room, not a cage. A Severe or a Hahn’s is a “mini-macaw,” more manageable at the scale of a typical medium-sized parrot but with all the personality of its larger cousins. Most first-time macaw owners do best starting with a Blue & Gold or a Green-Winged — they’re large enough to deliver the full macaw experience and widely regarded as the most forgiving macaws of owner mistakes.
CITES and documentation
Several macaw species — most importantly Hyacinth и Спикс — are listed in CITES Appendix I, which means international sale requires import/export permits in both origin and destination country. We handle all CITES paperwork on our side; you’ll need to secure the corresponding import permit in your jurisdiction. All our macaws are captive-bred, closed-leg-ringed, and come with full documentation.
Hybrid macaws
Hybrid macaws combine the colours and temperaments of two pure species. A Harlequin (Blue & Gold × Green-Winged) is one of the most popular hybrids for its vibrant plumage and steady disposition. A Catalina or Camelot combines Scarlet heritage. Hybrids can’t be used in conservation breeding programmes, but they make exceptional companion parrots.
