Perroquets conures

Conures are small to medium parrots native to Central and South America. In our Conures category you’ll find Sun, Green Cheek, Jenday, Golden, and Crimson-Bellied conures — each with its own distinct personality and colouration.

Why conures are special

Conures are often described as ‘big parrots in a small body.’ They have the affection and playfulness of a macaw at a fraction of the size, though they can be louder than their size suggests. Green Cheek conures are the quietest species and the most apartment-suitable. Sun conures are the loudest but among the most visually striking. Jendays sit between the two.

Lifespan and commitment

Conures live 20–30 years in good care. They’re bonding birds that do best with daily interaction — less demanding than cacatoès, but still social. They need a quality seed and pellet diet, fresh vegetables, and stimulation toys that don’t fall apart quickly.
