Peachicks

Peachicks are young peafowl — the best way to establish a peafowl flock on your property. They’re easier to ship than adults, settle more readily into new environments, and imprint on their new home territory.

Why start with chicks

Adult peafowl are territorial and harder to relocate successfully. Chicks grow up knowing your property as home, which means they stay nearby as adults rather than wandering. Plan for chicks to mature into full adults over about 3 years.

Care for peachicks

Chicks need brooder warmth for the first 6–8 weeks, then transition to unheated shelter in temperate climates. Our Incubators & Brooders category has suitable equipment. A protein-rich starter feed for the first few months is essential.
