Indian Ring Neck
The Indian Ringneck Parakeet is one of the most popular Asian parrots kept in captivity — an elegant, medium-sized species available in a wide range of colour mutations from the wild-type green through Blue, Lutino, Yellow, and American Yellow.
Exceptional talkers
Indian Ringnecks are exceptional talkers — often ranked among the top three parrot species for speech clarity, alongside African Greys and Amazons. They’re also relatively quiet for their size when not vocalising, making them suitable for more noise-sensitive households than cockatoos or conures.
Identification and documentation
Males develop the distinctive neck ring at 2–3 years; females typically don’t. All our Indian Ringnecks are hand-fed, DNA-sexed, and closed-leg-ringed.
