Belgian Racing Pigeons

They live in monogamous pairs and usually mate for life. They have fixed territories centered on a nest and males show strongly territorial behavior, but both birds of a well-bonded pair will defend the nest territory. Sometimes, particularly dominant males try to mate with more than one female.
