White-tailed Jay
DieĀ white-tailed jayĀ (Cyanocorax mystacalis) is a species ofĀ birdĀ in the familyĀ Corvidae. It is found inĀ EcuadorĀ andĀ Peru. Its naturalĀ habitatsĀ are subtropical or tropical dryĀ forestsĀ and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
Beskrywing:
The head is black and the face is mostly black with a white patch above the eye,which has a yellow iris, and white patch on either side of its beak. It is blue on the back and wingsĀ at and theĀ plumage underneath is white. The tail is white with some blue tail feathers.
Song:
Their call is a repetitive hollow call. It is blue on the back and wings
Dieet:
The White-tailed Jay feeds mostly on insects and various grains.
